Club Compete (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a tennis coaching platform based in Southampton, England. We operate the Club Compete website and member platform. We are the data controller for the personal data we collect about you.

Account data —Your name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), and date of account creation.
Profile data —Your date of birth, phone number, tennis level, goals, training background, and any other information you choose to provide in your coaching profile.
Booking data —Details of sessions you have booked, attended, or cancelled, including dates, times, and session types.
Payment data —Billing history, subscription status, and wallet balance. Payment card details are handled exclusively by Stripe and are never stored by us.
Health data —Your PAR-Q completion status and any health information you voluntarily share with your coach.
Usage data —Log data, browser type, pages visited, and interactions with the platform, collected automatically to help us improve the service.
Communications —Any messages you send to coaches or support, and your email communication preferences.

Contract —Processing necessary to perform our contract with you (e.g. managing bookings and subscriptions).

Consent —Where you have given explicit consent, such as for marketing emails. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Legal obligation —Where we are required to process data to comply with the law.

Coaches —Club Compete coaches can access your profile, booking history, and coaching notes to deliver your sessions effectively.
Email providers —We use third-party email services to send transactional and marketing emails on our behalf.
Legal authorities —Where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Club Compete, our members, or others.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Payment records are kept for a minimum of 6 years in accordance with UK tax law. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Your Rights below).
