Liability Waiver

1. Assumption of Risk
By participating in any tennis coaching session, group training, or physical activity organised by Club Compete, you acknowledge and accept that physical exercise involves inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to: muscle strains, sprains, fractures, cardiovascular events, and other physical harm.
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in Club Compete’s programmes and activities, whether those risks are known or unknown to you at this time.
2. Medical Clearance
You confirm that you are in good physical condition and have no medical condition, injury, or disability that would prevent your safe participation in physical exercise. You are encouraged to consult a qualified medical practitioner before commencing or resuming a programme of physical activity if you have any concerns about your health.
If your health status changes at any time during your subscription, you agree to inform Club Compete before continuing participation.
3. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and discharge Club Compete, its coaches, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, and liabilities arising from your participation in any activity, session, or programme, including claims arising from negligence, except where such negligence results in death or personal injury.
4. Compliance with Instructions
You agree to follow all instructions given by Club Compete coaches and staff, to use equipment safely and as directed, and to act in a manner that does not endanger yourself or others. Failure to comply may result in removal from a session without refund.
5. Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency in which you are unable to make decisions for yourself, you authorise Club Compete staff to seek and consent to emergency medical treatment on your behalf. You agree to be responsible for any costs incurred.
6. Photography and Media
Club Compete may take photographs or video recordings during sessions for promotional or educational purposes. By participating, you grant Club Compete the right to use such images or recordings unless you have previously notified us in writing that you do not consent to this.
7. Governing Law
This waiver is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this waiver shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
8. Acknowledgement
By ticking the “I accept the Liability Waiver” checkbox during registration or profile completion, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver. You acknowledge that this is a binding legal agreement and that you are signing it freely and voluntarily.
